M.Sc Nursing

The M.Sc. Nursing programme at CSI Holdsworth Memorial College of Nursing is a two-year postgraduate course designed to prepare registered nurses for advanced clinical practice, nursing education, research, leadership, and healthcare management. The programme combines academic excellence with extensive clinical exposure, enabling graduates to provide high-quality, evidence-based patient care while contributing to the advancement of the nursing profession.

The curriculum is carefully structured to strengthen theoretical knowledge and practical competencies. During the first year, students study Nursing Education, Advanced Nursing Practice, Nursing Research & Statistics, and Clinical Specialty-I. In the second year, the focus shifts to Nursing Management, Nursing Research (Dissertation), and Clinical Specialty-II, allowing students to develop expertise in leadership, research, and specialized nursing care.

Requirements:

a. Minimum education: Pass B.Sc(N)/ Post Basic B.Sc(N) with Minimum 55%.

b. Have minimum 1 Year experience after B.Sc(N). No experience required for PB B.Sc(N) Graduates.

C. Should be a registered Nurse and Midwife with the State Nursing Council.
